Funding from Long-Term Support Programs:
If your child is covered by the Children’s Long Term Support Program or the Children’s Community Options Program you can request that your child’s plan cover the cost of attending the conference. Talk with your child’s service coordinator!
For those with adult children, contact your Family Care or IRIS case manager to request funds to cover the cost of participating in this educational event.
See the information sheet to learn more.
Your child’s service coordinator can contact Kate Johnson at DHS at SarahKate2.Johnson@wisconsin.gov or 608-575-1062 if he or she has questions.
Scholarships from Elsie Shaw Foundation:
Starting March 1, families can apply for a scholarship through the Elsie Shaw Foundation to pay for conference registration, hotel and travel costs. When you apply, you will be asked if your child is enrolled in a long-term support program and request funding from CLTS first.
**Scholarship applications are due Friday, April 1.**
If you have questions or cannot access the online registration form, contact John Shaw at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 608.294.8716
